Notice Regarding Changes in the C-Suite Executive Structure

August 21, 2026

TOKYO, August 21, 2026--- Kyowa Kirin Co., Ltd. (TSE: 4151, President and CEO: Abdul Mullick, “Kyowa Kirin”) announces that it has decided to change its C-Suite Executive structure as follows.

1. Changes to the C-Suite Executive Structure

Kyowa Kirin has been promoting digital transformation (DX) as a critical management foundation for realizing “Vision 2030.” To date, organizations under the CDXO have played a central role in advancing the use of digital technologies and data, while also working to transform business processes and strengthen organizational capabilities, thereby building a company-wide DX promotion structure. As the business environment and technological evolution continue to accelerate, it has become increasingly important for DX to be promoted not merely as a set of individual initiatives, but in a manner fully integrated with management and business strategy. Considering these changes in the operating environment, Kyowa Kirin will integrate the role of the CDXO into that of the CSO, positioning DX as a core element of the Company’s growth strategy and will transition to a management structure that enables a more unified and agile approach—from strategy formulation through execution. This organizational change is intended to further advance the Company’s DX initiatives to date and elevate them to the next stage of growth. Under the new structure, Kyowa Kirin will further promote the utilization of AI and data, strengthen cybersecurity, and drive business process transformation, while accelerating decision-making at the global level and enhancing cross-organizational execution capabilities. Through these efforts, Kyowa Kirin aims to further enhance the value it delivers to patients and to achieve sustainable growth.
Representative Director, President and CEO of Kyowa Kirin, Abdul Mullick made the following statement:
“Building on the achievements of our DX initiatives to date, Kyowa Kirin will move into a new phase in which we take on the challenge of creating new value through DX. By embracing the rapid advances in data, digital technologies, and AI as key drivers of growth, we aim to become an organization capable of creating value swiftly and flexibly, even in a rapidly changing environment. We will continue to pursue value creation centered on patients and further advance our transformation toward realizing Vision 2030.”
